Recently, the Fortune Global 500 list was announced. The total revenue of the 500 companies on the list this year was nearly 32.7 trillion US dollars, an increase of 8.9% year-on-year, and the total profit hit a record of 2.15 trillion US dollars, an increase of 14.5% year-on-year.
In the list, there are 19 pharmaceutical and equipment companies on the list worldwide, of which two are Chinese companies, namely China Resources Group and China Pharmaceutical Group, ranking 80th and 169th respectively. Among them, China Resources Group ranks first with a revenue of 91.986 billion US dollars, and China Pharmaceutical Group's revenue reached about 59.980 billion US dollars, rising from 194th in 2018 to 169th, with revenue exceeding Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
Among medical device companies, there are 7 companies on the list, including GE, Siemens, Johnson & Johnson, Fresenius, 3M, Abbott, and Medtronic. Among them, in the field of large medical equipment, GE and Siemens ranked 48th and 70th respectively, ranking the highest among the seven companies.

Although China Resources Group and China Pharmaceutical Group ranked high among the 19 pharmaceutical and equipment companies, there were no traces of two Chinese companies in the list of the 50 most profitable companies in the 2019 Fortune Global 500, which was ranked based on net profit. Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Roche entered the list.
